My Personal Journey of Faith, Fear, and the Peace of Prayer
I wasn’t really looking for God when He found me. I was at a low point in my life, and suddenly one day had a private revelation of my great-grandmother who had passed away. I might never fully understand what happened that day, but in that instant, I knew Heaven and God were real. I called my husband and all I could say was, “I believe.” That moment started my faith journey.
A couple years later, we visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. My husband had a powerful experience there calling us to take our faith more seriously, and soon after we visited our local Catholic parish. I was nervous but dipped my fingers in the holy water and looked at Jesus on the cross. A calm came over me like never before. It felt like coming home. I now know we were encountering His presence in the Eucharist, and we never looked anywhere else after that.
"Right before our baptism into the Church, I went through a traumatic experience. Sitting in my car, panicked, I remembered the rosary in my purse. I googled how to pray it and started. By the last decade of the rosary, I felt a deep peace, as if Jesus took my fear and held it for me."
That moment with the rosary never left me. It inspired me to start Darling Rosary to share the peace, strength, and beauty found in prayer. After moving to Arizona, I built the business while working full-time, until in November 2024, I felt the Lord calling me to go all in. Now, I create durable, reverent rosaries designed to be prayed, loved, and passed on.
